FAQs

Q. How do I store my jersey?
A. We would recommend shaking out your jersey before you pack it away for summer. If you keep the bag you received it in, you can then re-bag it and re-seal it so it is air tight. Bugs (spiders and moths) love natural wool so it is wise to do this whenever you may not wear your jersey for any length of time. This way it should look as good as new season after season.

Q. What if a pesky bug does make a hole in it?
A. For minor mends we are happy to send you some wool. Just email or call with your name and address and the colour yarn required and we will send you some.

Q. What should I do if I need to return my item
A. If you decide to return your order, Black Sheep Ltd offer a no quibble, full refund (excluding carriage) on all unworn  items returned with original packaging and paperwork. Please use the return address label on your invoice and return via post or carrier. Our returns policy lasts 30 days.

Q. Where does the wool come from?
A. All our garments are made from British wool, sheared from sheep roaming the English countryside.

Q. Where is my jersey made?
A. Every single one of our jerseys is made exclusively in England. Our hand knits are made by our highly skilled local hand knitters.

Q. What if I am between sizes?
A. We can usually find a size to fit you. One of the benefits of yarn is that slight tension changes on a machine or by a knitter cause changes in size. Each garment therefore is unique. Just drop us an email with minor size modifications.
