from 82 reviewsI love my new sweater, though my husband says I look like I should be in the Army!
It is well made, super cosy and so warm. An absolute belter.
Great gloves. Not expensive and keep your hands warm. I would definitely recommend them.
Delivery was fast and gloves feel luxurious and warm. Will be buying again.
Great quality gloves, wear them when working from home and out hiking on the moors. I will definitely buy more in the future. Good price and made in the UK
Twenty-ish years ago I bought myself a sweater at the Black Sheep on a daytrip to Aylsham, while I was living in Norwich. I'm impressed to find that the sweaters are the same great quality today. I bought the cabled Aran crew in dark grey (a beautiful dark marled greyish-brown) as a present for my husband, and he loves it! For reference, he's 6'4" with a 48" or so chest--the XL fit him perfectly in both the chest and the length, including sleeve length. We live in New England, and love the warm and rain-resistant wool; not to mention the gorgeous cable patterning. And a shout-out to Wendy, who knit the sweater, according to the tag: you did a beautiful job, and we love it!
This is the best soap I have ever used. It is so soft on your skin and the bar lasts forever. I have given it as gifts and everyone loves it!
I bought one of these for myself as I both work outdoors and enjoy hiking and a few other outdoor pursuits. Upon delivery, not having owned a snood before, I had a play around with ways to wear it and was pleasantly surprised that I could both wrap a 'double scarf' (perhaps as intended?!) or a kind of very cosy headscarf using this same item.
The build quality is fantastic, the feel against the skin is cosy but not itchy and the garment weighs less than you might expect.
Overall an excellent garment that I highly recommend!
Was lucky to come across this style again in my size in the moss green. I’ve got a bit of everything from Black Sheep and I love them. This one is a very firm knit and tight, meaning it won’t snag and the wind won’t blow through you. Would highly recommend this one for the Australian winter in the south as it does get very cold with the southerly winds.
All these jumpers are well priced for the quality you get, along with being very warm they are really well made and very durable.
Love these sweaters. Slowly starting to see more of this style come into the Australian market due to the quality. I’ve been buying from them for about 4 years now and I’ve got some brilliant pieces that will probably last 20 years. Really well made. The wool is very natural, not dyed in some colours and you can literally smell the lanolin. You’re getting the real McCoy when you buy from this place.
Love my gloves. I have worn them all winter and they are still going strong. To get British made gloves at this price and quality is amazing.
I’ve made three Aran sweaters from this yarn, and will make more. I absolutely love it. It’s soft, but very durable and has a lovely sheen.
My Mother in law treated me to the Woodcock Jumper around 20 years ago, It has been warn very regularly and has been fantastic and the most comfortable jumper I have ever had. Finally after the 20 years of great service, it is showing signs of its age now, so will be buying another Black Sheep jumper to replace it. Fantastic quality product.
